A few weeks ago I left the UK to set off on a three month adventure. I left behind a job in the music industry which I'd found creative and exciting, but often very stressful. I spent one year managing pop artists and the year before working with stars from The X Factor. The day I boarded my flight to Mexico, I felt a million miles away from it all.
According to SITA (the company that tracks lost baggage performance) an estimated 21.8 million bags were mishandled in 2013 - that's almost seven items for every 1,000 passengers. It could be worse though - in 2007, the airline industry's worst year for misplaced baggage, 46.9 million bags went missing.
Child sexual abuse images and videos are nearly always a symptom of abuse. In many instances they are instrumental in building to the physical abuse of a child. As horrifying as this may be, the digital trail of this kind of content presents an opportunity to find and prevent abuse. By tracking the symptom, we can tackle the problem.
