As humans, we must raise our hands and accept that we all have a responsibility to look out for one another, regardless of skin colour, sexuality, faith or gender. For it is only when we fundamentally refuse to tolerate discrimination in its every form, can we wave goodbye to racism and embrace the fair and equal society humanity needs in order for it to truly prosper. On Sunday, London's Regent Street began a month of Summer Streets - every Sunday in July it will be closed to traffic, leaving shoppers and visitors the rare pleasure to roam Regent Street freely on foot. This first Sunday it was transformed into a spectacular display by TfL and London Transport Museum as part of their Transported by Design free festival.
This is the rule of thumb: you can leave the house in your pyjamas if your footwear is good enough. It's not something that should be recommended, but it's entirely possible if your choice of shoe is of a certain quality. Admittedly, the shoes in question will set you back several hundred pounds, but they will last and, more importantly, turn heads.
