Well we are progressing smoothly with the auditions. So far we have had the good, the bad and the maybe a little bit on the ugly side (no names, don't want to hurt anyone's feelings). What delights do we have this week? Here we go.
Deano, Deano, Deano, oh sorry, you caught me daydreaming about singing at Wembley Arena. Right, back to audition show Four. White van driver Shelley Smith was up first, good start, not my cup of tea, but I can't knock the vocal ability and the energy. An audience pleaser. See you at bootcamp.
Well done to the producers for giving us a fantastic opening weekend of the X Factor. It was entertaining, the judges were fun and most of all the talent was smoking. Oh, and not bad ratings either. So after last week's immense talent, whose up first...
WILL Michael Douglas get to enjoy a hall pass before he returns to fix his marriage? Barely five minutes after separating from his wife Catherine Zeta Jones - the Basic Instinct star was leading the pack of eligible fellas at the GQ Men of The Year Awards.
Yessssssss!!!!!! I'm so happy. Simon Cowell has taken a great positive cultural step. He has banned X Factor contestants from talking about their "journey". How I have longed for this day.

It's been revealed the X-Factor mogul can expect a special delivery in around seven months after married socialite Lauren Silverman is said to be pregnant with his child. But will the multi-millionaire playboy be ready for diaper duty - at 53? He's no spring chicken, and the egg and spoon race at school could prove a challenge.
Every night my mother would put us to bed to classical music, my younger brother would fall asleep instantly, but I was different and I couldn't sleep until the record was finished. I would secretly leave my room and stand in front of the mirror that was in the long corridor next to my room and I would dance and pretend I was Montserrat Caballé in La Traviata.
I was asked to attend the memorial service for Stephen Lawrence at St Martin in the Fields, a beautiful church in Trafalgar Square on 22 April and I was so honoured to be a part of something so significant and so positive, despite how tragic the reason for gathering was.
For four years JLS followed a formulaic schedule of a lead single release every summer, followed by a less radio friendly ballad in the final quarter of the year, allowing their follow-up conveyor belt 12-track album to be released just in time for Christmas upon the peak of its momentum.
