Police have arrested a 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of the murder of a 3-year old girl in Preston.
Lia Green was feeling unwell on Thursday morning and was taken by paramedics from her home address on Norris Street to the Royal Preston Hospital. She was pronounced dead on arrival.
A man and woman are now being questioned by detectives in connection with a murder inquiry.
Officers from the Force Major Investigation Team are working to establish exactly how Lia has died.
