Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has had a tremendous start to his Old Trafford career, scoring four goals in three games for the club.
However, the Dutchman could risk lowering his popularity with Manchester fans after a video has emerged on YouTube of him singing alone to the Liverpool anthem You'll Never Walk Alone.
In the 35-second video the striker, who moved from Arsenal to Manchester United for £24m in August, sways and waves his arm as he delivers an emotional rendition of the last few lines of the song.
Surely he can't be so disaffected in Manchester already that he is drunkenly pining for a new club?
Fortunately, it appears that a video of van Persie is an old one, uploaded more than a year ago.
Why would he be singing along? It transpires that the song is also one beloved by fans of Van Persie's first club, Dutch side Excelsior, making it more likely a tribute to his first club than a serenade to one of his team's bitterest rivals.
