Halloween 2012: Little Boy's Wheelchair Is Transformed Into a Digger (And More Ingenious Costumes For Disabled Children) PICTURES

Little Boy's Wheelchair Is Transformed Into A Digger For Halloween

As the Halloween costume scramble gets underway, the nation braces itself for a flurry of goblins, ghouls, ghosts and the usual tiresome glut of "sexy" witches.

Real ingenuity continues to shine through though. Take this happy little chap, whose wheelchair has been made to look like a digger.

We don’t know much about the circumstances of this little boy, but the costume is reminiscent of that worn by a youngster called Carter last year.

This little guy certainly digs this costume

Carter has spina bifida and uses a wheelchair, which his father transformed into an ice cream truck for last year's festivities.

It features a back window filled with ice cream cones. On the side of the truck, is painted "Buster's Ice Cream", and at the front sits Carter, proud as punch and dressed up in a crisp, white uniform.
