A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of sexual offences in connection with the Jimmy Savile sex abuse investigation.
Officers working on Operation Yewtree arrested the man from Surrey at 7.40 on Thursday morning and was taken to a central London police station.
The Metropolitan Police said "the individual falls under the strand of the investigation termed 'Others'."
