That's right: it isn't a bird, it isn't a plane, it's a replica of the DC Comics hero - complete with cape - up in the sky above the coast of South California.
"I was cycling down PCH (Pacific Coast Highway)... we had to stop because Superman flew overhead," writes YouTuber triathlonky. "We pulled up just in time to watch him land... It's custom built, so I'm not sure you can buy it anywhere - but how cool."
How cool, indeed. Although not as cool as a remote-controlled Superman that turns into a remote-controlled Clark Kent! Imagine all the fun you could have with that!*
