A live broadcast by Sky News Asia correspondent Mark Stone was dramatically halted after Chinese authorities detained him.
Stone had been filming with a team in Tiananmen Square when uniformed officials told him to stop.
But instead the cameras kept rolling and, in bizarre scenes, Stone continued reporting as he was transferred in a police van.
According to Sky, Stone had permission to film but was still escorted away.
Stone said: "This is just a little insight really into the way reporting works in China. Most of the time things are fine and for most of the day no problems at all, but then every now and then this happens."
The incident started earlier in the day when Stone had tweeted this:
Sky News reported a problem with passes not being displayed correctly caused the confrontation.
