Google Doodle Celebrates Saul Bass With Video Tribute

Google has used its latest 'Doodle' to celebrate the life and work of the graphic designer and filmmaker Saul Bass.

It celebrated what would have been Bass's 93rd birthday (he died in 1996 aged 75) Google produced the animated video in his own trademark style.

Bass is best known for his iconic title sequences and posters made for major Hollywood movies, including Vertigo, West Side Story and Goodfellas.

Design Week said that the Doodle was one of the search giant's "finest".
