Scottish Conservative Leader Refused Alcohol At Bruce Springsteen Concert

The leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Ruth Davidson, was refused alcohol at a concert she attended with another Tory MP after the barman thought she was underage.

Davidson, who is 34, was at a Bruce Springsteen concert with David Mundall MP, who is 51, when she attempted to buy a beer and was refused because she was unable to provide any ID.

She tweeted about the incident saying it had 'made her week'

One Labour MP replied to her saying "Don't worry in the referendum it's votes at 16 so you should be OK."

Ian Rankin suggested she might have been refused a drink for other reasons, tweeting
