Tommy Robinson seems to be getting the platform he has long craved - despite insisting his views have not changed.

On Wednesday he was interviewed on the BBC's flagship Daily Politics show, heralding the 'healthy platform for debate' he was getting since quitting the EDL.

This has gone down well in some quarters:

But he again refused to denounce his previous views, leaving some questioning what he has done to justify the exposure.

"They've not changed", he said when asked whether his views had altered since quitting the EDL.

This left Robinson free to give his views on Islam, child grooming and the building of new mosques almost without challenge.

And it gave fresh ammo to cynics of the "journey" he has supposedly been on since quitting the EDL.
