Donald Trump Ready To Run For US President In 2016 Election

Trump Wants To Run For President

Donald Trump, the real-estate billionaire, has indicated he wants to run for the White House in 2016 to undo the legacy of Barack Obama.

"It is something I would certainly look at,” he told the news agency Reuters in a telephone interview. “You know why? I'm unhappy with the way things are going in America."

Trump took a tentative swing at the Republican Presidential Nomination in 2012, but suspended his campaign following the Annual Correspondents Dinner in 2011 during which the businessman was mercilessly lampooned by Seth Myers for his birtherism… and his hair (video below).

Trump’s official reason for ending his 2012 campaign was to stay in the “business sector”, however even though his brand of populism showed little chance of securing the nomination three years ago the outspoken Apprentice star says he is ready for another shot at politics.

"No one has any idea what's happening at the top. America is not headed in the right direction, and that worries me," he told Reuters. "I want to talk about what needs to be done.”
