There is no shortage of Flappy Bird clones in the world. Pop bands have them. Sesame Street has them. Even vague, no-longer-funny memes have them.
Well now we've seen something that, at the very least, gives us literally a new perspective on the sadly dead hit game.
'Floculus Bird' is a fully 3D, first-person version of the game designed to work with the Oculus Rift VR headset.
It was made by Holden Link for the recent Flappy Jam coding festival.

In the game you're placed inside the Flappy Bird beloved of so many millions, and tasked - as ever - with getting through the pipes in pursuit of nothing but your inevitable demise.
Luckily if you don't have an Oculus Rift there's also a browser version - we've played it and we can confirm it's incredibly annoying. But also quite good fun.
It's not perfect either - there are a few bugs, and it's possible to get stuck on the pipes. But it's early days.
