Hobbit director Peter Jackson met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their tour of New Zealand, where he snapped away taking pictures of Kate and William at the World War One Aviation Commemorative event at Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre.
The royal couple were visiting the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre in Blenheim, New Zealand, and toured the Knights of The Sky exhibition - Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson's display of First World War aircraft.
William and Kate were in the middle of a 10 day tour of Australia and New Zealand, where the star of show so far has been Prince George. The little Prince is due to make is next appearance on in a few days at a Sydney zoo.
With currently just rumours of ‘The Silmarillion’ trilogy in the pipeline, we're sure Tolkien fans can think of many reasons why Peter Jackson should go forth and produce another 9 hour long middle earth elven adventure, which would give Kate enough time to practice her archery skills for a possible cameo.
