Blake was one of many stars who attended the festival's opening night festivities, which included a screening of Nicole Kidman’s latest film ‘Grace Of Monaco’, hitting the red carpet in a burgundy dress and nude heels.
However, what got us talking about Blake's outfit is the thigh-high slit which showed off her pins, making her the latest in a long line of stars to push for the revival of the leg bomb pose.
Of course, the reigning queen of the leg bomb is still Angelina Jolie, whose right leg was trying to make a break for it at the Academy Awards in 2012.
Since then a number of celebrities have tried to emulate her infamous red carpet look and at the Met Ball in New York earlier this month, the likes of Rita Ora, Emma Stone and Kim Kardashian all leg bombed for their lives while posing for photographs.
If this trend really is coming back, then we have high hopes for when Ryan Gosling hits the Cannes red carpet later this week.
However, while ‘Gossip Girl’ star Blake’s leg bomb might have garnered applause - from us, at least - the same can’t be said for Nicole’s film ‘Grace of Monaco’, which received a number of scathing reviews.
