Benjamin May's Irish Terrier, Duffy, was a rescue dog. He's always struggled with ill health, including developing diabetes, which led him to lose his eyesight.
After getting his diabetes under control through medication, however, Duffy qualified for surgery to restore his sight at the Veterinary Referral Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Here he was seeing May's family for the first time since he went blind. (And be warned: this video might make you blub. For all the right reasons.)
