It would appear the little green men are fans of rock musicians.
Menza posted it to YouTube with the following explanation: “I was standing in my front yard with my two boys and this is what we saw. Not sure what it is but it’s totally awesome!”
He says he noticed the craft while looking south east from California’s Studio City towards Burbank as he and his children gazed at the full moon.
Naturally thus followed a stream of invective, accusing Menza of, among other things, using the footage to drum up publicity for his upcoming book.
Menza, who played with Megadeth from 1989 to 1998, had this reply for his detractors: “Some people claim what I saw was fake and an act to create a publicity stunt to gain hype around my book release, that’s not the case.
“My book is complete and it won’t be released until some time next year, I have nothing to gain from this.”
The armchair sleuths at Reddit have also had a look, with some claiming the craft appears to be “intelligently controlled” and others stating it’s simply a “very pathetic attempt at CGI.”
