UFOs Pictured Hovering Over Scotland's Loch Ness

Two UFOs Photographed Hovering Over Loch Ness

Not only do the murky waters of Loch Ness have a monster lurking beneath them – they’ve now got little green men hovering above.

The unexplained sight was photographed by the Betts family as they holidayed at the Scottish Highlands beauty spot.

Bradford-based Alan Betts told the Daily Record: “Our Akita dog, Yuka, was strangely unsettled that night, he never barks but I remember we were laughing at the time saying that he’d seen Nessie because he was looking outside from the cottage window and barking at the sky.”

The double saucers were only noticed by the family as they examined their photographs later that evening

But later that evening while looking at their photos they noticed the double saucers.

He said: “We were in shock. I can’t offer any logical explanation, I am probably one of the most skeptical people you could find about things like this but I just can’t explain what it is. I know what it looks like though.”

It’s not the first time a UFO has been spotted buzzing above the loch.

Alan Betts, pictured here with his wife Anna, says he can't offer an explanation for the images

Police, Coastguards and an RAF search helicopter were deployed after the sightings – though despite extensive searchers yielded nothing.

The waters of the Loch are said to have been haunted by the serpentine Scottish beast since 1933.

Believed by many to be the last of a line of long-surviving plesiosaurs, (a Jurassic marine reptile) legend has it that the creature appears along with earth tremors and swirling bubbles.

The iconic picture of 'Nessie'

Nessie first hit headlines in 1934 when the Daily Mail published the above picture.

The photo was later revealed to have been staged, but there has been no shortage of images since.
