Christmas came early for supporters of Jeremy Corbyn this year when he was elected party leader, and this clip dug up by the BBC today shows the man himself is not afraid to get into the festive spirit.

Whereas politicians on all sides of the House are now familiar with Mr Corbyn, studio guests including then-Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik and Conservative Alan Duncan failed to recognise the left-wing politician.
A smiling Mr Corbyn revealed his true identity by removing the traditional Father Christmas wig, and in true socialist style redistributed a tray of mince pies around the studio guests.
