From the press release: "Scores of young women pitched up tents in Wembley Asda's car park and settled in for a long, cold night to get their hands on Lynx's first ever female body spray."

Really? REALLY?

Young, attractive ladies - and ONLY young, attractive ladies - felt the urge to spend the night queuing in the freezing cold Wembley Asda car park in a remarkably haphazard collection of tents (with their openings all facing the wrong way) across what look like a selection of priority parking spaces for the launch of a bodyspray which took place at 10am inside the supermarket which had been open and WARM the whole time?

IT IS A 24 HOUR ASDA. WHY WOULD YOU CAMP OUTSIDE IN THE COLD?

We entirely agree with Lynx Brand Manager Kieran Danaher who said: "We certainly didn't expect the scale of reaction from girls wanting to get their hands on the Lynx Effect and prepared to queue overnight."

Other observations about this launch are as follows:

1. There is a highly localised trend (localised to the Wembley Asda car park) for furry headband hats.

2. Abbey is not on board with the demands of cold weather and has neglected to put a pair of socks on under her boots. Or a bra under her catsuit.

3. Abbey has her hands in a muff.

4. To the person on the tube this morning who doused themselves in Lynx Africa before boarding the most crowded carriage: NOT COOL.
