Tesco Magazine hosted it's Mum of the Year 2012 event at London's Waldorf Hotel and proved - via a rather celeb-y red carpet - that figure hugging cocktail dresses are the order of the day when celebrating all things maternal.

Our favourite looks came courtesy of Denise Lewis (regal purple), Dionne Bromfield (girly blues with spiked shoulder pads), Sinitta (asset-boosting turquoise) and Amy Childs (a splash of sunshine in yellow).
