Amal's parents are said to be throwing the couple a dinner party in Marlow, Buckinghamshire on Saturday night.

E! News reports the event will be hosted by Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin at the Danefield House Hotel and Spa - an award-winning country estate with a Michelin-starred restaurant in Marlow. A marquee has put been up outside in the 65 acres of land, which boasts views of the Thames.

However, there's another reason Amal's family picked this particular spot for the party - the hotel is near to the home George recently purchased for his new wife in Sonning.

The property, which is located an hour away from Downton Abbey's Highclere Castle, isn't your average country cottage either - it's said to be worth millions and comes with its own spa and cinema.

After she attended a grammar school in Buckinghamshire, 36-year-old lawyer Alamuddin studied at Oxford University and clearly, she's still fond of the county.

"It was Amal who first set eyes on the place. It's her dream location," a source told the Mail on Sunday.

Mrs Clooney was last seen on a work appointment in Greece, where she advised the country on how best to persuade Britain to return the Parthenon sculptures, the Elgin Marbles.

Amal, who was recently named London's most powerful woman, looked chic for her trip in a boxy white cardigan with khaki tapered trousers. She's sure to have another effortlessly elegant outfit picked out for her post-wedding celebrations on Saturday.
