How To Pull Off The Perfect Red Lip
|

Emma Stone always looks incredible on the red carpet, and she never shies away from a bold lip.

Georgia Caney, beauty and fashion blogger at The Vintage Vision, recreates one of Stone's best looks in her video series with Pose. So now, you can emulate the red carpet ready look too.

1) Using eyeshadow like the Revolution Iconic 2 Palette, take a shimmery cream shade and dust it over your eyelid up to the brow bone.

2) Dust a coppery pink over the lid and lower lash line to make your eyes pop.

3) Using a black kohl liner (Georgia uses a Lord & Berry pencil), line the lash line.

4) Intensify your eyes by going over the line you just made with a gel liner, patting it over the kohl.

5) Use mascara liberally on your top and bottom lashes.

6) Georgia then lines the bottom outer corner of her eye with a Liz Earle brown kohl liner.

7) Next, add false eyelashes, using tweezers as an applicator. Georgia uses Revlon lashes. Slick another layer of mascara over your eyes to bond your natural lashes with the falsies.

8) Having already used Nars Sheer Glow foundation, Georgia then uses Mac's Prep + Prime in Forecast, patting it in under her eyes. Dot concealer over your face for extra coverage. Georgia uses Mac's Select Cover Up concealer in NC20.

10) Emma wears an orange tone-based bronzer a lot, so Georgia uses Nars Irresistablement, dusting it all the way up her cheekbone.

11) Next, use a light shimmery colour, like Mac's Creme Colour Base in Pearl, to highlight the top of your cheekbones, cupid's bow and centre of your nose.

Add some extra oomph to your look by adding a pop of bright, bold colour. Try an electric baby blue liner, like the one seen at Fendi, or colour coordinate with what you're wearing.

Get The Look: Fendi's bold blue liner was actually created using leather, but you can get the look by drawing a thick line with regular liner.

The dewy bronzed look at Michael Kors gives the appearance that you're fresh from a vacay in St. Tropez.

Get The Look: Apply bronzer where the sun would naturally hit your face -- forehead, chin, jaw line, and tops of the cheeks. Start with light strokes, and build up the colour. Use an illuminizer for that sun-kissed glow.

Not for the faint of heart, but if you're bold enough to try the bleached brows as seen at Givenchy, it'll make a pretty sweet statement.

Get The Look: If you just want to try the bleached brow look temporarily, fake it with an eyeliner pencil that matches your skin tone. Then use a spooly brush to apply yellowish concealer. Make sure to keep the look clean, and wipe away any excess product around the brows.

Channel your inner rock star adding a touch of sparkle to your lids.

Get The Look: Apply some glitter on the tops and bottoms of your eyelids, as well as on the inner corners. To remove, do what the pros did backstage at Anna Sui, and use Scotch tape wrapped around your finger.
