Many of us spent Father's Day celebrating how pretty great our dads - and our children's dads - were.

And in celeb-world, it was no different.

With the wonders of social media, fans were able to keep up to date with how celebrity dads spent their days.

So here's our round up of the best and just plain adorable Father's Day snaps uploaded by celebrity mums and famous daddys - some who were celebrating their first ever Father's Day in 2015.

David Beckham

Beckham called his homemade bracelet spelling out the word "Daddy" the "perfect Father's Day gift".

Justin Timberlake

Celebrating his first Father's Day with son, Silas who Jessica Biel gave birth to in April this year, Timberlake welcomed the "newest" member of Daddy fraternity.

Kanye West

Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram to write a gushing message about Kanye and their daughter North West, sharing a "precious moment" of the pair while touring with the rapper.

But that wasn't all she did, the reality star also revealed her unborn baby's gender in the Instagram caption.

Brian McFadden

Singer Brian McFadden and Kerry Katona had two children together, Molly, 13, and Lilly-Sue, 11, during their marriage and although the couple divorced in 2006, McFadden took to social media yesterday to thank Katona's new husband for "keeping the family together".

George Kay wrote back thanking McFadden and said it was a "joint effort".

But of course, McFadden shared a gorgeous snap with his girls in a throwback photo on his own account.

Chris Martin

Gwyneth Paltrow who "consciously uncoupled" with Martin in 2014 has remained amicable. The children have daughter Apple, 11 and son Moses, nine, together.

Paltrow shared an adorable photo of Apple and Martin looking into each other's eyes on what looks like a previous family holiday, and wrote: "Nothing like father/daughter love. Happy Father's Day to you, CAJM." We LOVE.

Barack Obama

Michelle Obama shared a throwback photo of her husband and their two children together: Natasha, 16 and Malia, 14.

Ryan Reynolds

Blake Likely gave birth to her and Ryan Reynold's first child together, a girl James, in January this year.

He really is one of those celeb dads who looks seriously hot holding his child.

Jim Toth (Reese Witherspoon's husband)

The actress and her husband's first child together, Tennessee, two looks just like Witherspoon in this seaside snap.

Nick Cannon

Although Cannon and Mariah Carey divorced last year, their twins Monroe and Moroccan, four enjoyed a day with their parents in the sun and making homemade cards for their dad.
