For the computer literate, feminism is becoming a hard topic to avoid.

From online petitions to Twitter rants, feminists are using innovative ways to make a stand and reach millions at the click of a button.

So when HuffPost UK Lifestyle asked readers to nominate their favourite modern feminists we weren't surprised at the volume of suggestions that flooded our Tweetdeck.
