Halloween 2016 is almost upon us, and if you’re searching for genius costume ideas - look no further.

While Margot Robbie’s ‘Suicide Squad’ Harley Quinn looks set to be the most popular choice this spooky season, there’s another fancy dress outfit moving up the ranks...

According to fashion website Lyst, everyone is going absolutely mad searching for Barb-inspired outfits.

Page views on Barb-style ruffled and pussy bow blouses are up 42% compared to this time last month, with 3,000 people searching for a ‘gingham ruffle shirt’ like Barb’s (above), and blue jackets have also seen a huge spike in searches.

Hilariously, 271 people have just typed ‘Barb’ into the Lyst search bar since the beginning of August.

There’s also quite a bit of evidence that Eleven is going to be another popular choice this Halloween - a pink Peter Pan collar dress was viewed once every three minutes on Lyst last week and 80% of people who searched ‘pink collar dress’ also searched for ‘tube socks’.
