If there's one thing hipsters love, it's cafes that specialise in one relatively niche food group or animal. Or the motherload - one that involves BOTH.

So London is being flooded with pop-ups, and they're flogging everything from cereal to cats and all the edgy stuff in between.

We've rounded up 10 of the weird and wonderful hipster cafes the capital has to offer. It's enough to make you consider relocating to the commuter belt.

After the blobfish was voted the World's Ugliest Animal in 2013, a couple of entrepreneurs set out to create a place where people can 'eat, drink and meet blobfish.' Sounds like a pretty good idea to us. The blobfish - Barry, Lorcan and Lady Swift - will be ready for their public in 2016. A whole restaurant dedicated to the mouth-wateringly indulgent grilled cheese sandwich. The Melt Room's menu boasts fancy takes on the hangover classic, like slow roast lamb with pommery mustard and melted swiss cheese. We don't even know what pommery mustard is. Just when you thought Dalston's famous vintage superstore Beyond Retro couldn't get any more edgy, they go and put a poached egg bar in there. Not that it's a bad thing -- it looks delicious.
