What is a microphone?
Doesn't sound like the most difficult exam question in the world, but when it's a multiple choice quiz and the only answers you've got are "true" or "false', then things get a little nasty.
That was the conundrum facing a group of poor souls in Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada, when they sat their sound recording test.
One of the film students posted the fiendish question on Imgur, which has now been viewed more than 1.6m times.
Various members of the public have offered up possible answers, with a couple of favourites being: "It's true. If it were false it would be a microphony." And: "False: What is NOT a Microphone, What is a pronoun."
