Andrew is CEO of self-publishing business Author Solutions

Andrew is CEO of self-publishing business Author Solutions, appointed to this position in May 2013. Prior to this, he was president of Penguin International (and based in Delhi) which comprised of Penguin India where he acted as CEO and president, the Penguin business in Africa and the Middle East, and DK India.

He had previously been at DK since 2003, where his most recent position was deputy CEO for DK Worldwide, specifically responsible for global sales and marketing, and digital. His previous roles at DK included chief operating officer for DK Worldwide (responsible for DK’s international business, DK India, digital sales and content development, creative operations and DK Images) and managing director of international publishing & licensing.

Prior to joining DK, Andrew was at Electronic Arts, the worldwide market leader in entertainment software, where he held various positions over a six-year period, which included business development, leading the third party-publisher/developer distribution program, the strategic sales and licensing division and the online business in Europe.

Andrew began his career at McGraw-Hill, where he was responsible for the educational publishing business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this role, he managed the educational sales and marketing teams, the editorial team, new media/multimedia product development, and established a European languages co-publishing program.
