Hleze Kunju is an isiXhosa Lecturer at Sol Plaatje University, Kimberley, an Imbongi, Researcher, Author, Actor, and a Musician. He specialises in isiXhosa literature, Intercultural communication as well as Sociolinguistics. He wrote Rhodes University’s first isiXhosa PhD thesis and received The Most Outstanding PhD Thesis Award from the African Language Association of Southern Africa.
