Jack Broadley

Founder and CEO of BaggyTrousersUK

Jack is the Founder and current Chief Executive Officer of BaggyTrousersUK, a Greater Manchester based charity whose purpose is to raise the profile and public awareness of testicular cancer; educate males and those in contact with males on self examination; and offer support to boys and men directly affected by testicular cancer. At 21, Jack found himself in the position of being given the news no man wants to hear - "I'm afraid that you have Stage 2 Testicular Cancer". Having fought back and won the fight, Jack is now a determined advocate and campaigner to raise awareness of the disease that almost took his own life. Jack wants to use his experience to inspire others. In founding BaggyTrousersUK, he has found himself consulting and working with other testicular cancer charities across the UK, as part of a network working together, which ensures the correct statistics and messages are being given out by all; and contributing to the discussion on many social media platforms and in online media, including Huffington Post. Jacks beliefs changed after battling cancer at such a young age he believes that everything happens for a reason, his life has changed for the better and is going from strength to strength everyday. He enjoys exercise at the gym and also a keen swimmer, a few of Jacks favourite books are ‘The Last Lecture’ by Randy Pausch and ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho.
