Jon Underwood, Curator of Death Cafe
The objective of Death Café is "To increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives". Part of this is holding regular pop-up Death Cafes, influenced by the ideas of Swiss sociologist Bernard Crettaz. At the Death Cafe strangers come together to discuss death and eat delicious food.
