Kit Yates

Senior Lecturer in Mathematical Biology at the University of Bath

Kit Yates is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematical Biology at the University of Bath. He uses maths to describe all sorts of biological phenomena from embryo formation and locust swarming to disease spread and egg-shell patterning. Along side his academic position, Kit is also an author and science communicator. His first book “The Maths of Life and Death“ was published by Quercus in 2019.
