Penny-Jane Cooke

Penny-Jane Cooke is the acting Senior Climate and Energy Campaign Manager for Greenpeace Africa based in Johannesburg. The Climate and Energy Campaign focuses on a just transition away from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Penny-Jane‘s work has focused on solutions and she has thus working with government, business and civil society role players around renewable energy options for the South African energy mix. Specifically in the past year she has focused on the retail sector in South Africa and how they could transition to a 100% renewable energy future. Penny-Jane has experience in team leadership and growth, project management in the renewable energy sector, developing key partnerships and strengthening best practice to support renewable energy projects.
