Rebecca Fordham

Communications Specialist, UNICEF

For the last two years, Rebecca has worked as a communications specialist for UNICEF, based in its NY HQ where she focuses on child protection issues. Earlier this year she was the agency’s Communication Chief in Libya and has also worked in Haiti. Prior to joining UNICEF Rebecca was a BBC producer working across different programmes, including Newsnight and The Culture Show. In 2009, she was based in the BBC's Cairo bureau where she produced multimedia content. Rebecca has a master's degree in violence, conflict and development from London University’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
