Samia Badani is a public and social policy consultant. She has lived in the Notting dale aera for over 17 years. She is currently the Chair of a local Residents Association and ward wide resident advisory panel. A strategically minded leader who thrives on managing and leading effective operations to optimise delivery of good services to clients in all sectors. A proven public and social policy expert both in the UK and the EU, having successful led campaigns to improve policies and practices that affected communities from a wide spectrum She has worked in the voluntary sector for over 12 years with extensive housing casework experience. She worked for different London based citizens advice bureaux. She has worked on a number of initiatives at national and international level She was previously was a member of Westminster Equality board . She gained an excellent understanding and working knowledge of the voluntary and statutory sector and the Equalities agenda. She has successfully delivered change and influencing public policy. She conducted evidence based research and submitted recommendations to Select Committees in the House of Commons and House of lords , the European Parliament and the European Commission
