Street Wisdom - Answers Are Everywhere

We are busier than ever, constantly bombarded by digital messages and being over-stimulated on all fronts. Never has multi-tasking been more prevalent and did you know that multi-tasking can reduce your IQ by 10 points?

Ironically the result of all this busy-ness and relentless hunger for information and news as it happens, is that we're losing touch with who we are and our world around us. We're slaves to what 'shouts' and nags the loudest at us and over a period of days and months we become desensitised to our own reality.

Street Wisdom is an exercise in rediscovering ourselves. It only takes a couple of hours of our time, and often less, to take a step back from all the chaos and just refocus and reconnect. Street Wisdom can take place on any street, anywhere in the world and this year alone has taken place in San Francisco, Berlin, Amsterdam, Sofia and Brighton. Interest in hosting events has also been expressed by friends in Libya and India. It's growing as a 'movement' and it is designed so that it is free, accessible and anyone who knows what it is and how it works, can share it with anyone else.

The whole premise of Street Wisdom is that you pay attention, 'tune in' to the street and find solutions to long-held problems you might have had in your personal or professional life. The answers are all out there we just need to give ourselves time and learn how to get ourselves into our present. That ability to focus has a real impact on people and allows them to get back to their innate creative state.

Ultimately we all need to take care of ourselves, both physically and mentally. We're fighting to keep control in a frenetic, fast-paced world and Street Wisdom allows you to just stop juggling so many things and focus on one. If you do it you'll start to see things differently, notice things you've never noticed before, wonder at the beauty of the streets and come away with a new way of finding answers in the your life. What have you go to lose?

Come along this Friday 23rd May to our next event in Central London from 10am until 1pm. You just need to register here: I'll hope to see you there.
