The votes are in and six finalists have emerged for January's FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month award.

6. Yohan Cabaye

The French midfielder has been a shining light in a somewhat dull January in the Premier League for Newcastle United.

Yohan Cabaye scored twice against West Ham away whilst also creating seven goal opportunities for his side.

The playmaker is able to pull the strings from the heart of the Newcastle midfield and demonstrates fantastic passing quality, whilst also posing an attacking threat.

His performances haven't been enough, however, as the Toon lost two out of three matches this month and they remain in eighth place.

Unfortunately for Newcastle fans, a bid from PSG for Cabaye, thought to be in region of £20m, has been accepted by the club.

5. Eden Hazard

The Belgian midfielder has been in good form this month, scoring one goal for Chelsea and creating seven chances for his team.

The most outstanding (terrifying, if you're a defender or a goalkeeper) statistic is Hazard's shot accuracy, which measures at a cool 100%.

The 23-year-old has scored nine goals this season and remains a key player in Jose Mourinho's side, who are unbeaten this January.

At the risk of sounding overly critical, you would be forgiven for expecting a player with 100% shooting accuracy to score more often and although Hazard is Chelsea's top goalscorer, this says as much about their poor strikers as it does about their superb midfielder.

4. Santi Cazorla

Cazorla has stepped up to the mark and danced out of the shadow cast by Mesut Ozil this month with some dazzling performances.

The Spanish midfield magician has scored two goals in three appearances which have seen Arsenal continue their impressive form this season.

He has also been in fine passing form this month, creating seven goalscoring opportunities for his side.

Cazorla is a part of one of the most feared midfield setups in the Premier League at the moment, featuring Aaron Ramsay and record signing Ozil.

It takes a lot to stand out from a crowd of such brilliant players and this shows why Cazorla should be in contention to earn this month's accolade.

3. Yaya Toure

The Ivorian powerhouse has been a vital cog in Manchester City's winning formula this season.

Yaya Toure recorded an impeccable 91% passing accuracy in the three games City played in January.

He has also scored 14 goals in 26 appearances this season, firing home two this month.

The midfield machine has already picked up one accolade in January, winning the African Player of the Year award for the third time in a row.

This combination of goals and passing prowess is pivotal for any successful season and Yaya Toure brings both to the table with impeccable technique.

2. Emmanuel Adebayor

Adebayor has seen his stock go up recently and has re-emerged as a striker to be feared in the Premier League under new manager Tim Sherwood.

The Togolese forward has grabbed three goals in three league appearances this January and has stolen the scoring spotlight from Tottenham's £26 million marquee signing, Roberto Soldado.

Sherwood has shown great faith in Adebayor, especially when he played him against Manchester United and the striker went on to score the opener, helping his side win the game 2-1.

Spurs will be hoping their current front man can keep up his goalscoring form in what could be a remarkable New Year turnaround for the London club.

1. Luis Suarez

It's hard to look past Suarez as the obvious choice for the Player of the Month award this January.

The Uruguayan has carried his impeccable form into the New Year with three goals in three appearances for Liverpool.

This has kept the striker at the top of the scoring charts with an unbelievable 22 goals and consequently kept Liverpool in the top four.

Despite injuries to a number of key first team players, Suarez has kept his side in contention for a good finish to the league.

The club will be hoping that the 27-year-old continues his blistering goal-getting form throughout the rest of the season.
