Claire Foy, Thandie Newton and Charlie Brooker were among the British stars who bagged an award at Monday nightโs Primetime Emmys.
The US awards bash - now in its 70th year - was held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, and honours the very best in primetime television.
Claire Foy won the Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Queen Elizabeth II in Netflixโs โThe Crownโ.
Collecting her award, Claire said: โI was given a role I never thought I would ever get a chance to play, and I met people who I will love for ever and ever.
โAnd the show goes on, which makes me so proud. So I dedicate this to the next cast, the next generation, and I also dedicate this to [her co-star] Matt Smith.โ
Fellow Brit actress Thandie Newton took home the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series award for her role in โWestworldโ.
The category was packed with British talent, with โStranger Thingsโ Millie Bobby Brown, โGame Of Thronesโ Lena Headey and The Crownโs Vanessa Kirby all competing with Thandie for the prize.
โI donโt even believe in God but Iโm going to thank her tonight,โ Thandie said after taking to the stage to collect her gong.
Welsh actor Matthew Rhys also took home one of the nightโs big prizes - Best Leading Actor in a Drama Series - for his role in โThe Americansโ.
โParts like these come along so rarely. I will forever be in your debt,โ Matthew told series creator Joe Weisberg in his speech.
Charlie Brooker, along with his โBlack Mirrorโ co-writer William Bridges won Best Writing for a Limited Series.
John Oliver added to the British success at Mondayโs ceremony, collecting the award for Best Variety Talk Series for โLast Week Tonight with John Oliverโ.
โThe Marvellous Mrs Maiselโ was one of the nightโs biggest winners - bagging nine gongs in total.
โThe Assassination of Gianni Versaceโ also won big - taking home the awards for Best Limited Series, Best Directing for a Limited Series, and Best Lead Actor in a Limited Series for former โGleeโ star Darren Criss. Writer Ryan Murphy dedicated the award to the LGBT community.
