Alicia Keys Refuses To Let Sons Watch Disney's 'Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs' Because It's 'Misogynistic'

Alicia Keys has revealed she will not let her sons watch Disney’s ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ because it’s “misogynistic”.

The 35-year-old singer, who is mum to Egypt, six, and Genesis, 10 months, with her husband Swizz Beats, said she gets “funky” about the classic film.

“I don’t like [my sons] watching it, she told The EDIT.

“It’s totally sexist, misogynistic – she’s cleaning for seven dwarfs.”

Keys continued: “There’s nothing wrong with a woman who chooses to stay at home with her family.

“It’s a hard-ass job, but it’s the way it’s spoken about.”

Several people who heard her comments aired their disagreement on Twitter.
