5 Cute Animal Pictures Of The Week: The Squeakiest Kitten And A 'Big Hairy Man' Kangaroo

Oh, and Gary the pup who licked a lemon ๐Ÿ˜‚

Itโ€™s been another stellar week in the animal kingdom, with new arrivals and forever adorable kittens to put us in a good mood this Friday.

From Gary the pup who seriously regretted licking a lemon, to the endangered silvery gibbon born in Chester this week, weโ€™re pretty sure thereโ€™s enough here to put a smile on your face.

1. A welcome arrival.

The silvery gibbon โ€“ a highly endangered primate โ€“ was born to mum Tilu and dad Alven on Wednesday 10 October at Chester Zoo. Just look at those little eyes ๐Ÿ˜

2. The โ€˜big hairy manโ€™ kangaroo.

Someone need a towel? This kangaroo that โ€œlooks like a big hairy man... caught in the act of bathing himselfโ€ is everything.

these photos of a kangaroo taking a dip in the creek so putting me into fucking hysterics he looks like a big hairy man thats been living in the forest and has been caught in the act of bathing himself in the townsfolks water pic.twitter.com/JoM72lnuOl

3. The dog who will not be defeated.

We pity the fool who tries to keep this German Shepherd from his food. Top points for determination.

5. A bitter mistake.

Last but not least is Gary, who learned the hard way that when life gives you lemons, you donโ€™t lick them. So much regret.
