CCTV footage shows the suspect approaching a 30-year-old man cycling on Wallis Road in Hackney, east London, on Sunday, March 10 at around 12.45pm.

He began to cycle alongside the victim before kicking him off his bike, causing him to crash into a parked car.

The attacker, described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, continued into the direction of Berkshire Road, the Metropolitan Police said.

The victim was rushed to hospital and remains in a critical condition more than a week later.
