Seann Walsh’s ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries has channelled Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ album in her latest Instagram post, in which she alluded to her recent break-up.
Rebecca made headlines last week when she broke her silence over Seann’s kiss with his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Katya Jones.
She won widespread support for her honest statement, in which she criticised the comedian’s public apology. She also revealed he had branded her a “psycho” when she questioned whether anything was going on between him and his partner, who he’d chosen to spend the evening with despite it being his girlfriend’s birthday.
In her latest Instagram upload, shared on Monday evening, Rebecca posted a grinning photo from Beyoncé’s ‘Hold Up’ music video, the biggest hit from her ‘Lemonade’ album, which dealt largely with the theme of infidelity.
Alongside the photo, Rebecca shared the optimistic caption: “She’s back!”
She also referenced having “taken out the trash”, as well as alluding to the most-repeated line from her statement last week when she used the hashtag: “#AndTookTheCat”
Despite having been the favourites to leave ‘Strictly’ over the weekend, and Seann commenting that his “difficult week” had hindered his training, he and Katya sailed through to the next round of the competition, having finished in fifth place on the leaderboard overall.
This weekend’s show made no reference to the media furore that had surrounded Seann and Katya since footage of their kiss was published online, apart from one off-hand comment from presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
