With just two weeks remaining on the current series of RuPaul’s Drag Race, fans are already looking ahead to the upcoming All Stars run.

Although it was already the worst kept secret in the Drag Race fandom, the line-up for All Stars 5 was confirmed earlier this month, with a host of queens from across the previous 11 seasons returning to compete for a spot in the Hall Of Fame (oh, and that $100,000 cash prize, of course).

Early favourites like Ongina and Mariah Balenciaga will be going head-to-head against newer additions to the Drag Race family like Miz Cracker and Mayhem Miller – not to mention Alexis Mateo and Jujubee, who each took part in the very first All Stars series.

However, while All Stars season can sometimes be a bit of a rough time for Drag Race fans without a Sky subscription (the last two series aired on Comedy Central), Netflix has announced that, for the first time, they will be showing the season week by week.

“LOOK OVER THERE,” they tweeted on Tuesday, referencing season 12 finalist Jaida Essence Hall’s catchphrase. “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 5 *will* be coming to Netflix UK/IE in June.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 5 debuts on Friday 5 June in the US, so we should expect the episode on Netflix the following morning, 6 June, here in the UK.

Netflix is already the current UK home for the first 12 seasons of regular Drag Race, as well as the latest All Stars run and the recent spin-off RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race, which saw stars like Vanessa Williams, Hayley Kiyoko and Loni Love competing in the work room.

However, before we dive into All Stars 5, there’s the rather pressing matter matter of crowning the winner of season 12.

Crystal Methyd, Jaida Essence Hall and Gigi Goode are the last three queens in the running, with Sherry Pie making top four, but being disqualified due to allegations that surfaced shortly before the season began airing.

Due to coronavirus lockdown measures, the series 12 finale will be filmed from home, with each of the queens performing one last lip sync in a bid to snatch the crown.
