OMG! You are shocked. Things don't go according to plan. You feel sad & disappointed.... and you even cry.... we've all been there. And we know, that feeling is a hunter.... will come back to us...
So now what? There is not much you can do to change the facts from the past! But there are powerful things you can do to change how you feel, pick you up and feel awesome regardless of the circumstances in your life.
Step 1. ACCEPTANCE! First step is to accept your feelings. Do not pretend like you are not feeling down; lovingly accept you are feeling sad , angry, dissapointed, and that it is OKto feel like that.
Step 2. CHANGE YOUR STATE! Yes! I mean your physical state. When we are down we use body language that matches that state, and worse it magnifies it! So change your state to a better, happier and more energetic one. Dance! Get out of the house! Run! Start jumping up and down! Be Silly! And do a sexy dance! :)
Step 3. CHANGE YOUR FOCUS! Now start thinking of what you DO want in your life! Imagine your ideal outcome and feel the feelings of excitement and gratitude. This step leads us to the next one...
Step 4. TAKE ACTION! Jumping up and down and changing focus will help a lot... it is much better if we reinforce it with immediate action that takes us closer to our ideal scenario in life. Take a baby step that will take you close to your goal. This way we guarantee progress and momentum!
Step 5. REPEAT! Let's accept it the greater the disappointment the longer it may stay with us; that's how must of us are programmed... so! When you feel the feeling is coming back... REPEAT! Repeat steps 1 - 4; now you know!
