The Downing Street brawlers are soon to be joined by another male cat from Battersea - the Treasury recently adopted domestic shorthair Gladstone as their Chief Mouser. He has yet to be let out on the street, but there has been speculation as to whether he will join the cat wars. Hopefully Theresa May will look at these top tips before introducing the new tabby to the street!
Moving into a new home where a cat is already ruling the roost is not something that happens on a regular basis, however, it could happen. Therefore, I'm here to offer some feline tips to anyone who is facing a similar situation... including Theresa May.
Recent research from the 2015 Pets at Home Pet Report revealed that rabbits are the third most popular choice of pet for British children* and owning rabbits has proven benefits for them. In the study 72% of parents agreed that owning a pet has helped with their child's anxiety. In fact, rabbit owners in particular (60%) said that their child had become more responsible and 57% of parents also said they had seen an improvement in their children's learning difficulties since getting rabbits.
You support a ban on the sale of puppies anywhere unless their mothers are present and of course this includes pet shops, garden centres, online, and through puppy dealers. Brilliant. Now we are finally getting somewhere.
