Dr.

Dr. Francesca Zampollo is a Food Design researcher, consultant, keen public speaker, teacher, and YouTuber. Francesca has a PhD in Design Theory applied to Food Design and is an award winning Food Designer. She is currently developing and theorizing further Food Design Thinking, a branch of Design Thinking she has proposed in 2012. She is the founder of the Online School of Food Design© (the first and only provider of online education on Food Design), the founding editor of the International Journal of Food Design, and in 2009 she founded the International Food Design Society. Francesca has organized the first, second, and third International Conference on Food Design, and taught Design Theory and Food Design at London Metropolitan University and Auckland University of Technology as a senior lecturer.
