Spokesperson, Labour Against Antisemitism

Spokesperson, Labour Against Antisemitism (LAAS) LAAS is a non-factional organisation established to eradicate antisemitism from the Labour Party. We seek to do this by working with the Jewish Labour Movement to support their campaigns; by gathering evidence and reporting antisemitic abuse by Labour Party members to the party compliance unit (and encouraging others in the party to do the same); by raising awareness of antisemitism within the party; and by challenging antisemitism wherever and whenever it occurs. Our group of dedicated volunteers is committed to delivering a Labour Party that remains true to its values of internationalism, anti-racism and justice. We support the rule change that was the achievement of the Jewish Labour Movement at the 2017 Labour Party conference, and demand that the Labour Party fully adheres to the IHRA working definition of antisemitism (as adopted by the National Executive Council in full in December 2016).
