Gail Schock

Writer, critic, foodie, blogger, lover of fashion - food, clothes and people.

Life began in the front, middle and back of the theatre as an actor, dancer, stage manager and occasional seller of programmes. Beyond the boards finding equality for artists called and the yellow brick road led to cultural politics. Now a business, artist and organisational coach/mentor, motivator and fundraiser, Gail seeks to empower artists across all genres in their work and to ensure financial security for them and their organisation. Today Gail is fascinated by the (spoken and unspoken) conduct of people; particularly during conversations that take place when the third person is far from narrating the story.

Some other places you might read more of Gail are as a contributor for The Leisure Review, a critic for London Dance and a teller of tales to ears, eyes and hands of all ages, shapes and sizes. At her home a warm welcome is guaranteed, she always has a good story to share and now wants you to share your story with her. Alongside writing, Gail is an amateur cook and loves one off pieces of clothing, antique brooches and planning celebrations.

A Glaswegian living in London, she and her husband recently moved to a top floor flat which looks over tree’s filled with local London wild life including parakeet's. She is writing her first book and you can wander through life with her via twitter.
